I’m new to the hobby and have a 118 gallon tank with some pretty messy fish. I have parrots, an Angel, iridescent shark and catfish. To give the fish time to eat before the spray bar from the filter sends the food to the bottom, do you shut off the filter?
The Eheim Pro4 600 has this lever to shut off water flow, but I can’t find anything online or in the manual to say if I can use this for feedings or just cleaning. Not sure if pushing that lever over and the filter still having power would create damaging pressure?
Anyone have one of these canister filters?
