Filter for fishless cycle

When I run the fishless cycle do I put the filter cartridge in the filer when I run it? Also it is necessary to have an air stone running during the cycle?

You have to run your filter like you normally wood. What kind of filter do you have? The airdrome is not needed.

Actually, running the airstone is a good idea during a fishless cycle- the more aeration you can provide, the better.
