:dance:Well the day has came...i finally got my nitrite reading..i went ahead and tested all water parameters....

pH.........7.6ppm
high ph...7.4ppm
amo.......1.0ppm(seems to look like it)
nitrite.....0.25ppm
nitrates...80.0ppm

whats the best thing to do now..let it drop to 0.0ppm..then redose to 2.0ppm ammonia new.jpg

I use prime as my dechlorinator....im needing to top of my water, its about 2inchs lower about 2-3 gallons..i know prime says to use a cap full to treat 50 gallons..woulld you know how much per gallon to use..also will it effect my readings

1ml for 10 gallons, 0.1ml 1 gallon - use a syringe to measure as its a tiny amount. 1 thread on the cap of prime is roughly 1ml.
Cycle nearly done, bet you can't wait!

Congrats! That purple tube is a good feeling (in a while you'll wish it was blue again lol). You can either redose now or wait until it drops, it's up to you. The nitrite phase is the longest; typically it can last about 3 weeks. Just hang in there and watch your PH for any significant drops.
