currently.....my water is cloudy.
White water.

I am into week 3 of my cycle.
ammonia - 8+
nitrite - 1
nitrate - haven't checked.

but i just want to know when will the cloudiness disappear?>>

I'm sure someone will chime in this morning that is further more experienced than me like Tank Girl but my tank's cloudiness went away right around the 2nd-3rd week. Once the ammonia starts to go down and nitrite goes up, you should be getting clearer water. Hopefully, one of the "seasoned" tank people can back me up...

well my nitrite is starting to rise.

My ammonia is off the scale....so its hard to tell if its going down ..

but if my nitrite is rising..i guess that its a sign that the ammonia is going down..
right???

You didn't say if you were cycling with fish or without but if you do have fish you might consider a water change..to reduce the ammonia..your at levels that can be harmful to your fish. When i cycled my Ammonia spiked only to .25 . Ammonia and Nitrite were at zero right at the six week mark.

yeah, anyone?
it was my ascertation that the cloudyness is the ammonia, and wont go till that number comes way down.
