Restarting a Tank

Hi, my fish just died, so now I have an empty 2.5 gallon tank and I'm not sure what I want to do with it next. I would appreciate any advice on low maintenance plants and fish that would work in the tank. Currently I just have a moss ball in it, and I used to have an anubias nana. Thanks in advance!

I wouldn't recommend any fish in a tank that small. I know they sell them for fish like bettas. But even those should have at least a 5 gallon tank. Maybe you could turn it into a shrimp tank? easy plants are java ferns, anacharis and anubias.

Personally I the red cherry shrimps and there is some new flaming orange ones that are so pretty!

Thank you! I think I'm going to get red cherry. I set up the tank today with anubias, java ferns, a red dwarf lily, and a moss ball.
