I have been doing my fishless cycle for about 2 weeks now maybe 3. The ammonia finally got down to 1ppm and then I put it back to 4. Then it went back down again and of course I put it back to 4. 24 hours later it was down to 0 so I did a 50% water change so I could read the nitrites and nitrates. But they were still off the chart I put more ammonia in and figured I would be able to read them today. Its been 24 hours and my ammonia is gone but my nitrites and nitrates are still unreadable. Should I do another 50% water change?

When I did a fishless on my 75g, it took about 3 days from when I was able to convert 4 ammonia in a 24 hour period, before my nitrites started dropping. I did 50% pwc on the 3rd day (where your at now) and then the following day, the nitrites dropped down.

I don't think another pwc would hurt anything at this point.

I wonder if I did a 90% water change if all the numbers would be where they are suppose to be.
