I have just boiled my new piece of driftwood for a couple of hours, soaking it now but have just thought.....is it supposed to soak in water treated/conditioned for Chlorine etc?? Like the water I would put in my tank? I have it soaking in a bucket full of tap water? Thanks for any help.

when I did my dw I did not add prime or anything to remove chlorine and I never had ill effects...its been several months since i have done so.....
