I am upgrading to a 90 gallon tank, from a 10 gallon and am trying to figure out a stocking plan. I have a Hydor 450 canister with a online heat pump.

I was thinking
8 assorted platy (already have in 10 gallon)
8 long fin red rosy
8 boeseman rainbow
2 dwarf gourami
2 Bolivian ram
1 rainbow shark (my kids are insisting on this)

Does this sound ok? Should I change anything?

I would say keep a close eye on the rainbow shark. They aren't as aggressive as red tail black sharks but they can be nippy or territorial at the very least.

We are currently cycling it, I put the filter from my 10 gallon hob into one of the bio trays of my canister, to aid in cycling the tank. I plan to have lots of places for both the ram and rainbow shark to set up territories. I will also have it moderately planted, making sure to stagger the plants some, so that way the fish can getaway from the rainbow shark of needed.
