API melafix & pimafix

Unfortunatly I have to treat my main tank for ick. I have a few corals and a coral banded shrimp. API melafix and pimafix is the only thing I can find at the LFS. It says its ok to use with corals and delicate fish. Has anyone ever used his product I was wondering on its effectivness and what if anything I should be concerned about while using it.

Those will not cure ich. There are 2 effective methods, 1) copper based meds and 2) hyposilinity. Both must be done in a QT tank that you will house your fish in. The display tank, in order to completely eradicate the ich, must be run fallow for 6-8 weeks to allow the ich life cycle to complete and die off...
