Chocolate chip starfish

I need help figuring out what to do to help my starfish. There was a spike in Nitrates and I’ve been doing a 25% water change for the last month every week. It’s eating krill shrimp and still functions all over the tank but just looks really bad. Any advice would help.....

I guess nothing.... it just looks like it’s not good? It has like 2 white spots that are new.....maybe I’m just being paranoid

I don’t see anything wrong. When a starfish isn’t doing well they’ll simply melt away.

Still looks fine to me. When you see it melting you’ll see it missing limbs.

Nope only climbs to the top of the tank and bends but still keeps it’s body in the water

OK good to go. Hopefully the LFS did not expose.
