handicapped coral banded shrimp

I believe my coral banded shrimp has lost one of his "legs." He seems to have adapted well without a cane or cruches, but I was wondering if these critters have the ability to regenerate lost appendages. I'm not sure how he lost it. I think he may have sacrificed it in a territorial battle with my black ocellaris clown as they are frequently bickering about who gets to sit on the Patrick Star Bubble House. As always, I appreciate any help.

They will generally grow back when they molt.
