Hi guys. It's me....again. lol
Well, I have an albino corycat that I just moved into quarentine. His fins are clamped and I just noticed that he has a few little red dots on his side. He hasn't eaten and just sits around most of the time. Water params....ammonia 0ppm, nitrite 0ppm and nitrate 10ppm. I have some melafix, pimafix, fungus clear and parasite clear. Would any of these work for whatever is wrong with him? Thanks!

Sounds like bacterial septicema. If it is you will want an antibiotic that is absorbed through the gills or skin. Kanamyacin is my favourite, but I don't think it is available anymore. not sure if melafix or Pimafix will do any good as I have never used them.

I tried the fungus clear. He developed some whitish fungus coming from one of his gills. The lil' guy didn't make it though. Thanks anyway Bill.
