Dwarf Gourami got attacked and lost tail fin

My Neon Blue Dwarf Gourami got attacked my another fish in my 55 gal tank and lost his tail fin. As soon as I noticed it I put the DG in my hospital tank. What do I need to do to make sure he survives? Here are before and after pictures.
