Fin Rot or ick?

Hello well I notice this white spot on my sail fin platy today and I'm not sure if she came like that or if it's grown from the time I got her, if it's either one of those what's the best solution to use?

Its ich, so you can fix it by increasing the water temp, dosing with ich medicine, and/or adding a little bit of salt to the water if your fish are able. The platy would be fine with a little bit of salt.

What I would do is wait and see if it grows or another spot appears somewhere else. Finrot can look like that in early stages.

But in the mean time start to slowly get the temp up and salt should cure both.

Okay guess I can only increase the temperature since I got some shrimp in here that prob won't like the salt along with some tetras and a catfish

I'm gonna increase the temperature since I got other fish to think about :x if not i got a small like 5 gallon tank I can probably isolate her.
