Yestherday my first (mother of all) red chrry shrimp died, I found here at the bottom, so I removed her.

Is there to worry? Or was it a natural death, I had her for like four months, they live 12-18 months (I read). So it's natural right?
All other shrimps are alive and well. :B-fly:

Sorry to hear that. Did you check water params? If everything else seems fine then it doesn't sound like anything to worry about.

If only one shrimp died, I wouldn't worry. The adults seem rather fragile. I transferred a few RCS from one tank to another last week and I found the biggest of the bunch keeled over on the bottom of tank yesterday. I usually leave the dead shrimp in the tank or I dump them in with my bigger fish. The shrimp are full of nutrients.

Another died yestherday. I think these 2 that died were the first ones I bought (I only bought 2) So unless more die I won't test my water, it's normal.
