I just joined here yesterday to look at some pics, but now I have a problem (aside from an emergency with my 4 quarantined Otos which resulted in one death last night).
I just noticed that one of my female Gold Barbs in my 46 Gallon has a red, slightly swollen anal vent. The other female seems interested in getting a really good look at it and/or nipping it.
My params are ammonia 0, nitrite 0, nitrate 10, ph 7.5, temp 80 F. Need anything else?
Should I isolate her from the others? The only place I can put her right now is in with the Otos (10 gallon), but would that be counterproductive, since they are in QT?
Oh, and I started feeding a new food about a week ago -- sinking Omega1 pellets along with TetraMin color flake -- b/c the piggie Gouramis were getting all of the flakes at the surface.
