How long does it take for the peas to work? And should I feed them only peas until cured?

Feed peas until cured, then once a week to keep it from happening again. If the peas don't seem to be working, use Epsom salt. It works as a laxative. One tablespoon for every 5 gallons is s good rule to go by.
