Hight nitrites!!

I have deadly nitrite levels in my 29 and 10 gallon. How did this happen, and how do i lower this?

Do a water change right away.
Waste and food.
I am new but this is what I have learned is the only thing you can do

Get some Seachem Prime ASAP. It will detoxify the Nitrites till the water changes can get them down . Your tank is not cycled so Prime and daily water changes are a must till the nitrites are zero . Look up "Fish in cycling"
