Hospital filter

It depends on what your hospital tank situation was. If it was for qt & everyone is healthy & well, its fine to move back. If you were treating something serious (such as columnaris) or the fish did not survive & you do not have a definite id on the cause, I would disinfect the filter housing & recycle the media.
 
I would really trash filter media than has been used in a hospital tank with meds or especially where the fish died.
 
Soak & scrub the filter housing in a 10% bleach solution (1 part bleach to 9 parts hot water) for at least 15-20mins. Rinse well. Soak in dechlorinated water for 15-20. Allow to airdry (preferably in sun) before reusing. Toss any media & cycle new media by running the filter on your tank again for a couple of weeks. Hope this helps!
