My gourami seems to have had half its feeler bitten off, maybe snapped off. (but i have noticed a nip in his tail - possibly from a larger congo tetra) Will this affect the fish in anyway?

If he is left in peace the fins will grow back, As long as he is in his current tank and under attack it will only get worse. The fish needs to be removed to a QT tank and nursed back to health.

I agree with rich. His feeler will also grow back, but it may have a crook in it from the end of the remaining feeler and where the new growth starts. They don't always grow back perfect, so if its a little crooked it's normal. Just keep an eye on his progress and watch for any fungal infection. Hope your lil gourami gets better soon!
