pitbull plec

I was doing the rounds this morning and noticed my little lord has developed an orangey mark on its head. Not sure if its a scrape or an infection or maybe just nothing?? Thought id check with you guys for an opinion.

I know nobody replied but if you look at the pics he is almost completely whiteish, this morning he is nearly black?? I know pitbull piece change colour slightly depending on substrate but surely he shouldn't be black??
