Sick Angelfish... need help identifying

I posted on here before a put my angelfish. He is progressively getting worse and I donít believe heís going to make it. Heís in a hospital tank with daily water changes and I am using erythromycin daily in his tank. I had a gourami that died recently and Iím not sure if this is the same problem. With the gourami he had a growth on the upper side of his body almost like a tumor, it got so big I believe it became an open sore before he died. This is the first day that my angelfish isnít wanting to eat. I just need help identifying what this is in case is spreads to my other fish and if I need to treat ASAP! Pictures show slow progression through the past two weeks!

My first guess would be septicemia but maybe caused by Aeromonas hydrophila. It is gram negative and would need treatment which treats gram negative infections. So sorry this is happening. This fish looks in advance stage if distress.

Check out treatment options, nitrofuran or tetracycline, API has Furan-2 treats gram positive and negative.

Is this contagious and needs to be treated in my main tank?

You might double check info about the illness if you feel it is the same, it is contagious and would require making sure the water is in perfect condition to help make sure the fish can fight off any problems if possible. And I would get medication to use if there is the slightest sign of any other fish disease spreading.

changing the water first, so it is all mew, vac'ing the substrate to get rid excess muck, then give the filter a gentle rinse with dechlorinated water. Best chance for the present fish to be in best health.
