My tank has been cycling for about a month and a half, and my pleco has developed a case of ich.

So, what are the best suggestions for ridding the tank of ich? (I have a 29 gallon).

Also keep in mind that I do not have a QT.

The rest of my tank inhabitants - 2 tetras, gourami, angelfish, a couple guppies.

Raise your temperature to 87F. Keep it that way for two weeks after the last signs of ich are gone. Go slowly a degree or two every 6 hours or so. That is all you have to do. No meds no nothing.

The heat method is the best IMO, esp with plecos which can be quite sensitive to meds. Good luck and keep us posted.
