Sore on oranda. Need help

Hey I have an oranda goldfish with a big sore / would on its side. Tested water with test kit and everything was perfect. Tried melafix but it doesn't seem to help. What should my next action be since I have another goldfish picking at the wound constantly. The other goldfish is smaller so I was thinking of quarantining that goldfish and letting the wound heal. Any advice would be much appreciated

Quarantine would be a good move here. If the other fish is constantly picking at the wound, it will be difficult for it to heal.

In quarantine, I would dose salt (predissolved before adding) at 1tsp/g. Do you have access to antibiotics? Some countries require a script from a vet. We can offer further suggestions if you are able to buy fish meds.
