Hitch hiking coral?

Several days ago, I purchased a rock which was mainly populated by orange ricordeas. The guy at the lfs pointed out a greenish growth also on the rock, however he did not charge me for it. Any ideas what it is?

Looks like an upset and bleached ric or mushroom.

That is what I thought at first, but upon closer inspection it is stuff to the touch, like an LPS coral.
