ID please?

This is encrusting along my back wall..

The picture doesnt show it very well, but its largely whitish gray, with some black highlights (almost looks like ash). It has what looks like a mouth at the top, although it is actually quite flat (again not overly notable in the pic).. There is smaller one on the other side of that purple LPS in the left of the pic, and incidentilly there is one growing on a rock where that coral used to live. There are little holes running the length of it.

I was thinking maybe sea squirt?

Another thing of note is i brished my finger against it and got moderate swelling and a slight sting (less than a bee pain wise) - I couldnt find anything about venomous squirts, but I may just be allergic..

It felt quite soft/gelatinous

Any help would be appreciated!

EDIT: Is there any issue regarding the safety of the tank, other than myself.. :)

I would say it's some type of tunicate. But to the bet of my knowledge they never contain stinging cells. That's weird that it hurt when you touched it.
