Mini Star like critter Hitch Hiked on Hammer Coral (Image)

This little guy hitched on a Hammer Coral I recently picked up.

At first I thought it was debry with a unique shape but it's moved from the bottom of the branch to the top.

It looks like a baby star fish, or I am thinking some sort of worm, or snail.
it's has a white star border and a black star inside.

Can Anyone Help Me with an ID?
is this a good guy or a bad guy?

-Thanks

Sorry dont know why it Posted the image 3 times

ok I found this thread on these guys

http://www.aquariumadvice.com/viewto...=mini+starfish

some say they may eat corals and some say they dont.
Also that they multiply rapidly.

For those who have had them

What was your experience with them?
did you yank them or leave them?

Thanks

I have them and they have not caused any problems. I got mine as hitchhikers on some live rock I bought from a friend who had the rock in his established reef tank . I have at least 50-100 of them and they don't seem to do much. You can see them out on the rocks and glass at night.
