Hi I found this on my live rock this morning. Can anyone tell me what it is? It's the purple fan like plant growing out from the rock.

Can't tell from the pic, maybe a feather duster? Does it recede when touched?

Yeh it does. I'm thinking its a tube worm maybe.

Yep, sounds like a tube worm. Harmless filter feeders
