Stuff looks like confetti.....

I'm about two weeks into cycling my tank. I've started to see these things on my lr and sand. They remind me of sequins or confetti. They are round and about the size of a hole punch, like you would use around the office. They are a pale purple with white around the edge and a very small white dot directly in the middle of the circle. I can easily blow them around the tank with my turkey baster. They're not in a big group, they are just scattered randomly around the tank. I'm sorry I can't give you pictures. Any replies are greatly appreciated.

If they are moving maybe flatworms?

Yeah, some are moving about a half inch every 20-30 minutes, while some aren't moving at all. I see about twice as many of them as I did last night. :?

I agree it sounds flatworms. They may die off during your cycle.
