Most of them appear to some species of sponge.

Agreed, I have lots of the orange stuff on my rock, I'm fairly certain its a sponge.

As for the icky bubble stuff, I dont have any.

I have one small rock completley covered in the orange stuff that I made the centerpiece of my tank, I think the color is awsome.

It's been there for about a month and if anything its gotten brighter in color.
