What is this?

Hello all, my friend has just recently started a reef tank, it's now cycled and he has 2 clownfish and another fish I can't remember the name of, think its a goby of some sort. Anyway he sent me
An email with a pic of some stuff he has growing on some live rock, any idea what it is?

Just let him know and he says he wants to know what the white shell looking things are aswell, no pleasing this kid, he is a member on this forum but hasn't got an app enabled phone anymore. Thanks for any replies.
