convert hanging hood to hanging but supported by tank/stand??

I recently purchased a 48" Hamilton dual Halide hood that is designed to be hung from ceiling but my ceiling is 12 foot high and tre style. What are my options? I am not sure on exact height above tank I need it to be but I would like to attach it from the back without making it look real bulky. Any ideas are welcomed. Thanks.

Hmmm.. Only Idea I have it to build a canopy to match your stand and mount the fixture to the roof of the canopy.

I was thinking about possibly using black rebar or black metal of some sort that would be able to be mounted to the back of the stand and then connected to the light. I was hoping someone else had tried something like this before.
