DIY Fuge Question

Im doing a fuge right now, dimensions are 13x12x5 with 3/16" acrylic. Just wonder if this acrylic is too thin?

For internal compartments, or to build the outside? For the outside, I'd probably go with 1/4", just because I'd rather be very cautious. For baffles, I believe justDIY recommended 3/16" or 1/4", whichever you prefer.
