DIY Mistake

I have a real mess I used latex caulk to stick some stones together. I knew better but did not think it through. The caulk of course started to dissolve in the water. I removed the stones and caulk and did a 50% water change and added water clarifier and changed the filter media. Still the water is cloudy. Any thoughts? Thanks
