Amazon sword question

Any idea what it means when your swords start to look like mine are? They have enough light and normally grow strong, but lately they look subpar.

Do you use root tabs or liquid ferts at all?

Nope. I have never given them fertilizer. Think that could help without upsetting my fish?

it wont harm your fish at all and it will definitely help, amazon swords are heavy root feeders. api root tabs and api leaf zone are what i use and in the past four months my sword grew from 9" to nearly 14"

Agreed. They won't harm your fish if used correctly. To save some money you can make your own osmocote root tabs. There are lots of threads on it if you do a search.
