Anacharis & light

I just got some anacharis for my 29gallon tank. I have 3 stems floating and 2 planted. I'm pretty sure my current lighting isn't going to cut it. I'm using the Marineland LED Hood

Am I correct that the hood light won't be enough?

Any suggestions on a light that may fit in the existing hood opening?

For now I just have a 120W incandescent bulb lighting through the side of the tank...not sure it's proper lighting?? It's all I had around the house right now.

Anacharis is very low-light. Even though that light probably won't grow MUCH, it will most likely grow anacharis.

+1 to Bud. Anacharis should be able to grow. Not very fast though.

Those kits come with single bright LEDs. The incandescent might give you some light to work with, but I wouldn't rely on the LEDs at all for anything other than looking at fish.
