Anyone know anything about these little guys? I dare not ask my LPS about them and online info is rather scarce. I couldn't help but stare at them today though!

There really beautiful shrimp, that's why there also called a Flower Shrimp. They get to be about 3 inch's, and they won't harm any fish, they are filter feeders, they use there little fans to fan food into there mouth.

current is a 20 gal, with 4 nerites, 4 amanos, 6 card tetras, and a peaceful betta, planted tank.

You could put one in there if you wanted to, but that's up to you, but if you decide to put it off, one thing to remember is they love planted tanks.

like other shrimp, I assume they like a few of their own buddies for company, and i don't have the bottom feeder room in this current setup.

Bamboo shrimp are fine as a single. They do need some current to feed properly and they do escape from the tank.
