Carbon filtration removes trace elements correct?

My mind went blank and I can't remember weather or not carbon will remove trace elements added to RO water. Silly question I know, but I can't remember...
 
I believe it was the krib I read this on... try a search over there.

a scientist tested AC to see what minerals it would remove, and found after a period of time it removed almost all the minerals vital to plants.

I'm not sure if this applies to your situation or not.

Yea it does. I was curious because I use R/O water so I add in Kent R/O right. I was wondering if my carbon is going to remove that over time.
