Hi all! I have a 150gal tank recently planted, with more plants to be added over the coming weeks and months. Tank has been up and running for almost a year. I have a rena xp3 with floss, filter sponge, bio rings and stars, and chemipure elite. 50% water changes weekly.

Will the chemipure elite pull the liquid fertilizers out of the water before the plants can absorb them? I hate to spend money on the fertilizers, and then absorb them out before they work. :)

Thanks for any help. Cheers!!!

There is a good chance it will bond with KNO3 and pull it out of the water. I would say if you are heavily planting the tank, you ought to be able to stop running it in the canister and still see an overall water quality improvement. Heavily planted tanks do wonders for helping to purify and clean your water :)
