Hi,

Two questions I'm hoping someone can help with.

1. With a 6 gallon tank, fairly high tech, how would one go about calculating how the lights should be on to help prevent algae growth? Attached is an approximation of my lighting values:

2. It's seemingly impossible to maintain a consistent 20-30ppms by counting bubbles. Maybe it's me. On average I run about 1 bubble per second 2 hours before lights come on. Around noon I'm in the green (drop check) but under the 20-30ppm CO2 with KH and PH values. My lights run in two shifts - 4 hours in the morning, 3 hours in the evening, with co2 running straight through up until 30 mins before second shift shuts down. Around 6-7, i'm in the yellow (drop check) and have to manually adjust the co2. But even the above is inconsistent at times. PH controller maybe?

Thanks

Whats your current photoperiod? Could you post a link to the aquarium lighting calculator you used?
