Ok, Almost everything is in place. I have almost completed the in line reactor I want to use except for the bioballs that I'm waiting for from fosters (FedEx destroyed one of my boxes and I'm waiting for replacement stuff)

Got the xp2 up and running and a air stone (wood actually) sitting just under the suction tube. I know this is not ideal but between the tiny, tiny little bubbles that come out of the little coralife diffuser and the filter pump tearing them apart and spewing them all over the tank, I think this must be similar to the power head method.

I would post pics but the camera is at work :(

I currently am feeding co2 at a rate of 1 bubble/ 2 seconds. This is lower than I see most of you posting but I think I will go at this kind of slow until I see what happens.

Is this too slow to do any good? or am I ok with starting out low?

It's best to start out slow and make small changes as needed when you can be around the tank to observe the fish to ensure that it isn't too high.
