So I just got a bag of Eco-complete (EC) and I got it strictly for my 10 gallon tank that's used as a green house. It carries a baby guppy 3 snails ( 1 adult 2 babies) and a shrimp ( I forgot it's name). Now I no they create waste, but I read somewhere online the other day that it could be used as fertilizer. Is that true? Should I not clean out the tank if that's the case? I mean I do change out the water but not to much just the usual 1/4. I was thinking on removing the subtrate that I have in my 55 gallon and replacing it with the Eco-complete too. Please let me know if this is ok??

That's my lil tank, but wouldn't the ammonia lvls skyrocket?

Well 1 time in my 55 gallon tank the lvls were so high that the fishes swam up as if they were trying to breath air and didn't want to be in the water and I check the ph lvls nd ammonia nd it turns out it was the ammonia. Since then I do weekly water changes to my freshwater tank and clean out the waste.
