I am just NOT able to grab a decent picture of my aquarium. The room it is in is very lighted. Maybe I should try at night. This is the best I could come up with.

Can you guys point me towards some tips for getting better aquarium pictures?

I always take pics at night with no other lights on (to cut out any reflections of stuff) and no flash.

Nice tank, BTW. :)

With no other lights on except the tank, the camera will pull all its light from the tank as it is the target of the picture. With all the extra light on in that picture, your camera is going to close its shutter faster.

just stabilize yourself on a chair or something at night with all lights off. use an auto setting they work veer well. turn off the flash and have fun. truing off filters really helps aswell. and take lots. different angles. go really close so u can just fit the picture and take one from far awya like your first pic. juts make sure to take alot.
