I just received a couple of weeks ago some Hygrophila polysperma 'Rosanervig' from Rich. the plants had very minimal red leaves, but after a pwc over the last weekend I decided to not dose my nitrogen and see if I could get the red to come out.

Boy did it!

Recently though, the new leaves that are coming out are starting to wrinkle. No other plants are showing any signs of deficiencies.

Anyone ever had this happen before?

I will test the nitrate level in a couple of minutes, and post.

TIA

this was happening to my new groth aswell. i still dont know what was causing it. it isnt haooenign right now though. my assumtion was that is was a kind of shock from changing tanks. my nitrates are sitting at about 5 right now and the plant is almosta flouresent pink. looks awesome.

Nitrates are over 10. Probably around 20.

Guess that is not the culprit.

Could be shock, I have noticed that the internodes are getting tighter than how they were when they arrived. This is due to the fact that my light height from the substrate is so close.
