Is that Cryptocoryne pontederifolia or blassii?

Hi,

In the LFS they describe it as Cryptocoryne beckettii.

But I think it's a Cryptocoryne pontederifolia or blassii.

Can you help me identify this crypt?

That looks more like a sword plant to me, some type of melon sword or similar. Any photos of the stem?

It probably will but it will grow very slowly. Be sure to use root tabs as it is a heavy root feeder.

Do I need to use a root tabs every month with the Eco Complete? Or only the first time?

I have Eco in all my tanks and depending on the type of root tabs you use you will probably have to do one every 45 to 60 days. Swords use root tabs pretty quickly IMO.
