Java fern

Will java fer grow well in the soil. I have been given some but my tank is so planted if I remove the bog wood I fear I will never get it back in. Unless anyone knows a way of attaching it to wood with out tieing it down

It needs to be tied down it feeds off the water column. You can use a rubber band or some string. By the time it was established the string will have dissipated anyway. I used rubber bands in mine and clipped them a few months after.

You can use zip ties to hold the java down on the bogwood until it attaches itself. Thats what I have to do with my java for a bit.
