Ok so i did a thread few days ago about me wanting to try to plant stuff:

I have gotten Java Moss as my first plant, tied it around some driftwood. I havent gotten the light yet but it is right next to a window so it should be ok right?

Also do i have to trim it at all? Im totally inexperienced with plants...

You do t have to trim it but it can go crazy. Trimming seems to make it spread on the driftwood better. For me Java moss either does really well in my tank or it does really bad. It's a great thing to have for shrimp and fry tanks. I would be careful with the tank getting direct sunlight from a window. It can cause algae city, and also temp swings.

Ok. I will do some more research.

And the temp swings make sense, but it has been fine so far :/
