Sorry lots of questions tonight.

My new 55g is running T5HO with 6700k bulbs. It gets no outside light, or negligible amounts. Liquid Co2 and root tabs(will be monthly) and liquid ferts if needed.

How long should I leave the lights on? 6 hrs? Should I split it into 2 periods?

:cool:I would leave the lights on for a total of 8 hours. You can shorten or lengthen it later depending on the needs of your plants. Also, to be clear, whatever carbon supplement you are using isn't "liquid co2". Usually "liquid co2" is gluteraldehyde. It does not contain co2 by any means, but has carbon in another chemical compound. If it was really liquid co2, it would have to be kept at about 110° F below zero to prevent it from changing back into its gas form. You may run into issues with just glut dosing with that much light, so you may eventually want a co2 system.
