Hello,
Any one know of good plant that African Cichlid won't dig up and sample it? I currently have Java Fern in the tank right now, want some addition to that? Also can Java Fern be attach to the PVC pipes and grow/live? (Another way to hide the PVC pipes)
Thanks

i've heard that Cichlid's wont eat Crinum thaianum onion plant, grows in low light...

and i would imagine java fern would grow on practically anything if anchored - that is kinda a guess tho

My mbuna are not eating the anubias nana, and you might get away with valisneria or bolbitis also. You can tie the java to whatever you want - I like to use cotton thread, and by the time the thread rots the java fern has taken hold.
