Tanks been setup for about a month and a half now and its reall started to take off (literally, i have plants growing out of the top of the tank). Its about time for some trimming but I dont want to mess it up!

Wasnt sure which light gave the best picture, so I took one of each light on the tank.

Interested in what everyone thinks.

Very nice and lush, like an overgrown forest. I like the mirror background idea on this one because it makes that sandy path look like it goes on forever. Are you going to trim it soon?

Thanks! I think im gonna let it go a couple more weeks. Only plant that is presenting a problem is the ludwigia cuba on the right. Its now growing horizontally across the surface of the water.

Also, im enjoying the faster growth of the plants that have reached the surface and can use more co2. Almost all my algae problems have disappeared.

I think when you trim and cut everything back harshly it produces stronger growth. Ive noticed it in my tank

Should I trim my stouragyne repens on the left side of the tank? Or should I let it be for a bit longer.
